Rectoprotect 5% Cream Help - anyone know about the side effects?

I am trying Rectoprotect 5% Cream to help with hemorrhoids, but I am getting worried about the side effects. The product insert that came with the cream lists some rare but serious side effects like acidosis, methemoglobinemia, and severe allergic reactions. Has anyone else had issues with this cream? Should I keep using it or find something different?

The side effects listed on there are scary stuff. I wouldn't risk it. Maybe try some natural remedies, which are a lot safer and gentle on the body.

My doctor warned me about some serious side effects like acidosis and methemoglobinemia. She recommended avoiding lidocaine-based creams. I'd reconsider using Rectoprotect, bro.

I used this cream and it worked wonders for my hemorrhoids. I didn't experience any side effects, but I did notice some slight irritation at the site of application. I just applied a bit of Vaseline to ease it. I would talk to your doctor to be sure before continuing or stopping.

I have had hemorrhoids for years and have tried a number of creams. Rectoprotect was one of the few that actually worked for me. I would suggest giving it a real try, but if you experience any major side effects, stop using it immediately.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction to a similar cream once. It was awful. I got really dizzy and had a fever. I would make sure to watch for any of those symptoms.

I didn’t have any issues, but I stopped using it because I couldn't afford it. I would personally recommend it if you have the money. It was a life-saver for me in terms of pain relief.

I've been using the cream for a month. No issues so far, just the usual redness and minor discomfort. Might be worth it for the relief.

I'm in the same boat with hemorrhoid issues. The doc prescribed something else to me and I'm really liking it. Maybe you can get a script?

I had a friend who used Rectoprotect and ended up with some discoloration on the skin. She had to stop using it and switched to a different cream. Maybe experiment with a few creams until you find the right one!
