Feeling worse after taking Oselflu
So doc gave me Oselflu for this nasty flu I've got. First dose kicked in. Symptoms slowed down. Started feeling good. Then here comes the nausea and vomiting. What gives? It's just day 2 and I've got like 4 more days. But I'm not a fan of feeling like this. It's like trading one bad thing for another.
Anyone else feel like this or should I stop? Doc said take it all. But it's 2023, and if I feel crappy, why should I keep it up?
The doctor also warned about liver and alcohol. But I had a sip last night. I am sure it does not help. Alcohol's not great, but one sip shouldn't be the end of the world, right?
Bummer, hope it helps you soon. I took the full course of it 3 years back. The vomiting was rough, but it kicked in after a day, and I got better! But I did not take any more alcohol on the night, but I have been good the next day.
Did you check the packaging or read the leaflet? I got mine in the mail. It's got all the warnings right there. They say avoid alcohol, don’t remember why. Probably your nausea. If you wanna ask the doc, you can also see if there's a substitute. But I think you can see why docs don’t like swapping.
Forget the flu for a day and take a rest, you'll feel better.
Don’t skip any of the pills. It’s supposed to get rid of the virus, not just the symptoms. You do want the flu gone.
