Switching to Novolin NPH: Experiences, Tips, and Side Effects
I've been using Novolin NPH for about a month now and I've had a mix of experiences. I would love to hear from others who have been on it longer. For me, it's been great at controlling my blood sugar, but I've had some irritations at the injection sites and I'm worried about the weight gain I've experienced. It’s amazing how different people react to the same medication. I’ve been using it for a few years and haven’t had any major issues. I did have some initial trouble with low blood sugar, but my doctor adjusted the dose and it’s been smooth sailing since.
I switched from Lantus to Novolin NPH and I've had some issues with low potassium levels. Muscle cramps and weakness are no fun. I've been eating more bananas and potatoes to keep my potassium up, which seems to help.
