Managing Diabetes with Afrezza: A Quick Acting Option?
I'm considering Afrezza (the inhaled insulin powder) for my Type 2 diabetes management. It sounds intriguing since it's taken at the start of each meal and works quickly to lower blood sugar. The side effects list is a bit concerning, but the convenience is tempting. Has anyone tried it? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. Who else has used Afrezza and has any advice?
This is awesome. I've been trying to find something that isn’t a shot. It’s the worst part about this disease.
That's an interesting option. I've heard it works fast but wanted to know if it can be hard to dose correctly.
Afrezza is great but if you have asthma, forget it. It made my asthma flare up really bad. Talk to your doctor and see if it’s the right choice to make
I had to stop using it because of the side effects. If you have any respiratory issues you might want to keep looking for another type of treatment.
