My experience with Morphine Sul 30mg ER Caps - What's yours?
I've been prescribed Morphine Sulfate Extended-Release Capsules (30mg, 24h) for chronic pain management and I'm looking for some community support. How has it worked for everyone else? I'm also curious to hear about any side effects you've experienced and how you've managed them. Some of my side effects are constipation and feeling really tired. It's definitely helped with the pain, but it's been hard to adjust. How long did it take for others to feel 'normal' again? Has anyone tried adjusting the timing of the dose to mitigate these side effects? I'm really hoping to hear from some long-term users to get a better understanding of what to expect.
Hey, I've been on these for about 6 months now. The constipation is REAL, but my doctor put me on a stool softener which has helped a lot. Just make sure you stay hydrated too. I found that taking it at night really helps with the drowsiness. I was a zombie the first few weeks but taking it before bed has made a noticeable difference.
Side note: if anyone is trying to get off these, please do it with medical supervision. Taper off carefully and be prepared for some serious withdrawal symptoms. It's not fun.
