I've been taking Deferasirox for about a year now, and it's been a lifesaver. No more iron overload issues, but the side effects can be rough. I get diarrhea and stomach pain pretty often, but my doctor said it's normal. I just manage it with over-the-counter meds and a careful diet. And the skin reactions are worrying, but I didn't have them.
I switched to Deferasirox from Desferal injections, and it's been a game-changer. No more daily injections, and the side effects are much more manageable. I do have to watch my urine output, but overall, it's been a positive experience. For sure recommend.
