Hydrocortisone 2.5% Ointment: My Skin's New Best Friend or Worst Nightmare?
I've been using Hydrocortisone 2.5% Ointment for a few weeks now to battle my stubborn eczema. It's been a game-changer in reducing redness and itching, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had any issues with this stuff? I'm particularly nervous about the risk of a skin infection. I mean, my skin is already irritated, and I don't want to make things worse. I got a weird rash around the area I was applying it. Turns out I was allergic to one of the inactive ingredients. If you suddenly get worse, stop using it and see a doctor.
