Has anyone else had bad side effects from Biodesp DM 5-15-100mg/5ml Syrup?
Hi everyone, I was prescribed Biodesp DM for a persistent cough and congestion, but I'm experiencing some strange side effects that I'm not sure are normal. The medicine does help with the cough and congestion, but I've been feeling really nervous and excitable, and I've had trouble sleeping. I also felt dizzy a few times. I read the side effects list, and these are on there, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it just part of the deal with this medication? I'm also curious about how long these side effects last, and if there's anything I can do to mitigate them.
I had a similar experience with the nervousness and excitement. It was really unsettling. I talked to my doctor, and they said it could just be my body reacting to the medication. They suggested taking it with food to see if that helps. It did a bit, but I still felt jittery. I ended up switching to a different cough syrup.
I've taken Biodesp DM a few times and never had any side effects. Maybe talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose? Or switching to a different medication if it's bothering you that much.
Didn't have any side effects but it did help calm the cough and clear my nose. I appreciate it.
I took this for a week and it worked great, no side effects. But then I read about the side effects someone had and I stopped taking it, tbh. Maybe i'm just paranoid but the “allergic reaction” side effects where you can't breathe and everything is pretty scary.
