Has Anyone Else Experienced Severe Side Effects from Proventil 0.083% Inh Soln 25 X 3ml?
I've been using Proventil 0.083% Inh Soln 25 X 3ml for a few weeks now, and while it helps with my asthma symptoms, I've been experiencing some concerning side effects. I've read about the potential for severe reactions, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues or if there are any tips for managing them. I've noticed my hands shaking and I experience chest tightness after using it. It's not a severe reaction, but I wanted to hear from those who are more experienced. Has anyone had worse, or did I get lucky?
I switched to a different inhaler because of the side effects. I wasn't having fun with it and I don't want to risk the bad side effects. No way.
You might want to try using a spacer with your inhaler. It can help reduce the side effects by making sure the medication goes straight to your lungs.
I had a really bad reaction to Proventil once. I started wheezing and my throat felt like it was closing up. Scary stuff. I had to go to the ER.
Same here. I've had chest pain a few times after using it. I thought it was just anxiety at first, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe I should talk to my doctor about it.

I've been on Proventil for years and I'm usually fine but recently I've had a sudden sharp increase of hives. It's pretty annoying and uncomfortable. I guess I'm going to have to see about switching meds. I wanted to post this in case someone else is having the same issue.
I've had some bad experiences with inhalers. But on the bright side I got to wear my blue allergy mask til it went away. I guess it wasn't all bad.
