I've recently started treatment with Pemetrexed 750mg Injection for my mesothelioma. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this chemotherapy drug. How have you managed the side effects? Have there been any unexpected benefits or drawbacks? I'd appreciate any insights or advice on coping mechanisms and what to expect throughout this process.
My friend went through this and said the most helpful thing was a good support group. That's where he learned about all the little tricks to managing the side effects - like using a humidifier for mouth sores or adding extra salt to food to handle the taste changes. I'm glad I was there for him.
