I've been prescribed Doryx 50mg DR Tablets for my acne and rosacea. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones listed. Has anyone else taken this medication? How was your experience? Did you encounter any of the severe side effects like allergic reactions or liver problems? I'm also curious about the anti-inflammatory effects. I had a terrible experience with Doryx. I developed a severe rash and had to stop taking it. I ended up in the ER and was told that I was lucky to be taken care of in time… I had an allergic reaction. My doctor switched me to a different antibiotic and my skin improved. Be cautious and listen to your body.

My doctor told me it is very important to take the medication as prescribed and follow up. I was taking it inconsistently and the side effects were terrible. I felt much better after taking it consistently.
