Yes, this drug does save lives! But you do have to think of the risks as well.
I got it after a major surgery and had no issues whatsoever. It's really just for hydration and energy when you can't eat or drink normally. But listen to your doctor and watch for those serious side effects – just in case.
I'd be very cautious with injections. The at-home administration is too risky and you can't pass urine or changes in urine production.
