Anyone else struggle with Levaquin 500mg Tablets side effects?
I was prescribed Levaquin 500mg Tablets for a sinus infection, and I've been feeling absolutely terrible. The side effects listed are scary, and I've experienced some of the more mild ones like upset stomach and diarrhea. Has anyone else had issues with this medication? How did you cope with the side effects? I'm on day 5 of a 10-day course and am really hoping it gets better soon or the infection doesn't come back I finish the whole course.
You should talk to your doctor about switching meds. The side effects you're having don't have to be tolerated.
I got really bad diarrhea and ended up in the ER. Total nightmare. Be careful, and definitely finish the course as prescribed
I've been on it a few times and it's always made me feel like crap. I finish the course but I'm really careful about taking it only when absolutely necessary.
I had to stop my course because I felt so sick. My doctor was really supportive and put me on something else. Don't feel bad if you need to stop.
Yep, I had the same issue. The side effects were awful. I talked to my doctor and they switched me to a different antibiotic, and it was much better.
Just finished a course of Levaquin and felt fine. Everyone is different, but hopefully, you’ll feel better soon!
