Akeega 100/500mg Tablets: Side Effects & Experiences
Hello everyone, I recently started taking Akeega 100/500mg Tablets for prostate cancer treatment. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. What are some of the side effects you've encountered? How have you managed them? I've been reading about the potential side effects like allergic reactions, infections, and bleeding, but I'd love to hear personal experiences. What has your experience been like so far? If you're experiencing any of the serious side effects like severe nausea or vomiting, it might be worth talking to your doctor about adjusting your dosage or adding additional medications to manage the symptoms. Don't just suffer through it.
I've had some issues with high potassium levels. Frequent monitoring and a low-potassium diet have helped. My doctor also put me on a diuretic to help with that. This is a tough one but there are ways to get through it. Stay on top of the routine visits and keep an eye out for signs.
I had a severe allergic reaction after my first dose. Swelling and rash everywhere. The doctor said it was an allergic reaction. I went to the ER, they gave me the right meds to help me get through it, it finally went down. Needless to say I don't recommend taking Akeega if you have a history of severe allergic reactions.
