Zometa 4mg/5ml Inj: Has anyone experienced severe side effects?
I was prescribed Zometa 4mg/5ml Inj for my bone cancer due to bone pain, but I am scared of the severe side effects. Has anyone else experienced these, and if so, how did you cope? I'm particularly worried about the kidney problems and allergic reactions. Also, I am not sure what to expect in terms of other potential side effects. I would appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
Zometa saved my life. I had bone metastases and the pain was unbearable. After a few infusions, I felt much better. The side effects were nothing compared to the relief I got.

I had a urinary tract infection while on Zometa. It sucks, but it's treatable. Just make sure to tell your doctor about any burning or pain when you pee.
