Zolmitriptan 5mg Tablets: Miracle or Menace for Migraines?

I've been prescribed Zolmitriptan 5mg Tablets for my migraines and I'm curious to hear others' experiences. It's supposed to narrow blood vessels and reduce those nasty migraine symptoms, but I've also seen a horrifying list of side effects. Has anyone else tried this? How did it work for you? What side effects did you experience and how did you manage them?

I had Serotonin syndrome on this drug. It was scary, to say the least. I had confusion, hallucinations, and muscle twitching. I haven't taken it since. I guess it works for some, but it's not worth the risk to me.

I think the worst part is the potential for long-lasting vision problems. I've read a lot about this and it scares me. I'm going to stick with my old medicine for now…

I tried it once and had a terrible reaction. I felt like I was having a heart attack, it was awful. I will stick to my old migraine meds, thanks.

I had a bad reaction too. I got a rash and had to go to the ER. Turns out I'm allergic to it. Not everyone reacts well to this stuff. Would love to hear others' stories.

I had no idea this stuff could cause heart problems. I'm seriously considering switching to something else.

I've had to change my diet to help with the stomach issues. It's a bummer, but worth it to keep the migraines away.
