Zepatier Success for HCV Treatment: Side Effects, Results and Answers
After a year of being diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis C, I've finally been prescribed Zepatier, a combination medicine comprising elbasvir and grazoprevir. I'm currently taking my 50mg-100mg tablets. Looking to connect with others who've taken Zepatier to share side effects, results, and any other insights! I’m happy to share anything I’ve learned so far, but I’m curious about everyone else's experiences as well.
I had such a scary reaction a couple of days after starting zepatier. It was like a bad fever but I couldn’t get my temperature to rise above 98.5. I was shivering for days and had to take hot showers with my doctor’s approval. I was seriously worried but my doctor explained it was just my personal reaction to the meds and was normal. I was skeptical but it all went away. But if you feel like you’re in distress, get help. Make sure your doc knows.
I'm glad you're finding relief. My doctor had me on a different med that did nothing, then I had to switch to Zepatier. I’ve been much better ever since. I’m so happy that I can finally sleep through the night again.
