What to Expect When Taking Gemcitabine 200mg/5.26ml Inj for Cancer Treatment?
So, I've been prescribed Gemcitabine 200mg/5.26ml Inj for my cancer treatment. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions or severe dizziness. Has anyone else taken this? What was your experience like? Any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone have advice for recognizing the difference between normal side effects and urgent ones that need immediate medical attention?
I'm on my third round of Gemcitabine and I can't believe I haven't had any major issues. Just some fatigue and hair loss, but nothing I can't handle. Stay strong everyone!

The flu-like symptoms were the worst for me. Lots of rest and painkillers. My oncologist also said to watch out for any signs of infection, so don’t hesitate to report them
I had some mouth sores during treatment, but they weren't too bad. Just make sure to talk to your doctor because they have stuff to help you with that. They can prescribe some special mouthwash or something to help with that
Can anyone tell me more about the liver problems side effects? I'm a bit worried about that.
That's weird, I never had the flu-like symptoms, but I had a lot of the mouth sores, so I am sure you'll be fine, your experience might be different from everyone else's.
