What are your experiences with Precedex 400mcg/100ml Sol Inj (Dexmedetomidine) for sedation during procedures or while on a breathing machine?
I've seen Precedex 400mcg/100ml Sol Inj listed as a sedative option for ICU patients. It's supposed to help with sedation without causing as many breathing problems as some other sedatives. This medication is a bit scary. My friend had an allergic reaction and ended up in the hospital for a few days. They got the fever and rash listed as the serious side effects.
