What are your experiences with Divalproex Extended Release 250mg T? Is it effective and how do you manage the side effects?
Divalproex Extended Release is a medication used to treat certain types of seizures (epilepsy), to control manic episodes in people with bipolar disorder, and to prevent migraine headaches. It works by affecting certain chemicals in the brain. This medication has both urgent and non-urgent side effects. How has your experience been with taking Divalproex Extended Release for these conditions? Do you find it effective for managing your symptoms? How do you handle the side effects such as dizziness, fatigue, or more serious issues like allergic reactions?
It's annoying how they've changed the generic name a million times. The first time I got a new prescription, I had no idea they were the same medication. I found out my pharmacist wasn't so great either.

I had a really bad reaction to this med - got a rash, felt like I was having an allergic reaction. I've stuck to different meds since.
Be careful with the liquid form if you're pregnant if you can. It's not that serious but the extended release version of the med should be ok.
I'm not sure this is the right medication for me, I’ve been experiencing a lot of side effects and it doesn’t seem to help much with my seizures. I feel like I’m in a constant brain fog.
