What are everyone's thoughts on Lansoprazole 15mg DR Capsules for frequent heartburn?
I've been experiencing frequent heartburn for a while now, and my doctor recommended Lansoprazole 15mg DR Capsules. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones like allergic reactions and kidney problems. Has anyone else taken this medication? How was your experience? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Be very careful with this. I took it for a month and had severe diarrhea and my doctor told me it was a rare but not unheard of reaction to this medication. Be mindful and report any changes to your doctor right away.
I've been on Lansoprazole for about a year now, and it's been fantastic. The only side effect I've had is a mild headache occasionally, but nothing major. Just be sure to take it before meals and not on an empty stomach, it's supposed to be more effective that way.
I'm on week 3 of lansoprazole and I'm feeling better. Taking it with food twice a day like it says on the bottle. The side effects I've experienced are minor - I've had some slight constipation. I'll keep y'all updated on my progress.
I take Lansoprazole and I swear by it. I wish I had it sooner!

I'm scared to take this now, thanks for sharing.
I had a bad reaction to this med, so be careful! Not worth the risk for me.
