Warning: My doctor prescribed me the Lanso/amox/clar Pack Card. Anyone else had a crazy reaction to this?
I was prescribed the Lanso/amox/clar Pack Card for a severe sinus infection and I'm nervous about the side effects. I've read the list and it's terrifying. The doctor said these meds are really strong and to call immediately if I get any of the serious side effects. Has anyone else taken this and had a crazy reaction or even a mild side effect you want to share? I just want to be prepared and it's hard to find any kind of discussion on this. Should I be concerned about the possibility of getting any of the rare, severe side effects or am I being paranoid? I want to go into this with my eyes open.
I had a really bad reaction to an antibiotic before, but it wasn't this one. I ended up in the ER with a severe rash and stomach issues. I'd be super cautious and follow your doctor's orders. Keep an eye out for any changes in your body
Do not mix with alcohol especially. won't be fun. Ask me how I know
Don't be paranoid, but also don't ignore symptoms. I've been prescribed the same combo for a tooth infection and I never had an issue. I sure wouldn't have taken it if I saw the list of side effects though. Keep in touch with your doctor. They know what they're doing.
I took this pack before and had some minor stomach issues. It was a bit annoying but it didn't stop me eating or enjoying my life. I didn't have any of the severe things listed, but I did google them all so that I knew what to look out for. I think the feeling of being sick can be too much sometimes. If you do experience any severe issues, get to a doctor immediately. I can't imagine how it would be to experience any of the severe ones.
