Tolterodine Tartrate ER 2mg Capsules: My Experience and What You Need to Know
I started taking Tolterodine Tartrate ER 2mg capsules a few weeks ago to manage my overactive bladder symptoms. I've had issues with needing to urinate constantly, which has been very disruptive to my daily life. I thought I would share my experience with this medication, its possible side effects and any other insights I've gathered. The medication works by relaxing the bladder muscles and has been known to help a lot of people. I have noticed a bit of improvement so far in my constant urge to urinate. I did some research to better understand the common and more severe side effects, like constipation and dizziness versus more serious reactions like hives or swelling. I want to know if anyone else has tried this and what your thoughts are. Here are some of the side effects I found: Feeling dizzy or sleepy, Headache, Stomach pain, Constipation, Dry mouth, Dry eyes. I also want to know if anyone else has had a positive or negative experience.
Be careful with this medication. I had a bad reaction and ended up in the emergency room. My eyesight is fine but I was experiencing tightness in the chest and throat. And had severe stomach pain. I might not have any constipation, but I had severe hives and swelling.
I've been on these for a few months and they've been a game-changer for me. No more constant bathroom trips!
