Telmisartan 20mg Tablets: My Experience and Questions
I recently started taking Telmisartan 20mg tablets to manage my high blood pressure. I was curious about how other people are finding this medication. Does it really help with blood pressure, and has anyone experienced any of the side effects mentioned? I've had a bit of dizziness but nothing too severe. Just want to hear from others who have been on this medication for a while. Thanks!
I've been on this med for about 6 months and honestly? It's a lifesaver. My BP is well controlled and I haven't had any issues. Sure, I get a stuffy nose sometimes, but that's minor compared to the benefits.
I switched from Lisinopril to Telmisartan because I was getting bad headaches and a persistent cough. The switch was great—I haven't had any headaches since. My blood pressure is well-controlled, and the only side effect I've noticed is a bit of lightheadedness when I stand up too quickly.
I've had some people have severe allergic reactions. Be careful. If you get any rash or tightness in the throat, call a doctor right away.
I've heard people have issues with kidney problems after taking Telmisartan. Has anyone else had this experience?
My doctor warned me about the possibility of dizziness or fainting, so I've been extra careful. I haven't experienced any serious side effects yet, but I'm keeping a close eye on how I feel.
I just started this. I've had a bit of sinus irritation which is a bit annoying, but I guess I can live with that. Blood pressure is finally normal though so worth it!
