Teflaro 600mg Inj: Life-saving antibiotic or potential nightmare? Share your experiences!
Teflaro (ceftaroline fosamil) is an antibiotic medication given by injection into a vein. It is used to treat serious bacterial infections of the skin and soft tissues, and certain types of pneumonia. It works by killing the bacteria that cause these infections. Although it can be a lifesaver, it also has potentially severe side effects. I recently had to use it for an infection and was hesitant given the list of potential complications. I want to hear from others who have used this medication -- was it effective? Did you experience any side effects? Are there any tips for managing them?
It was the worst medication I've ever taken but it totally saved my life! How messed up is that?
Teflaro worked for me, but I had to be careful with my diet. I avoided dairy and fibre. I also had to take probiotics to recover after the treatment. It was tough, but it worked.
I had severe allergic skin reactions with this and ended up in the hospital. I didn't have a clue that an antibiotic could cause such a reaction. No more Teflaro for me!
I had to take this for a severe pneumonia. It was incredibly effective, and I only had mild stomach issues. It was worth it to get better from the pneumonia.
