Taltz (Ixekizumab) 40mg/0.5ml for Psoriasis and Arthritis: Experiences and Side Effects
I've been prescribed Taltz 40mg/0.5ml for my psoriatic arthritis. I'm curious about others' experiences with this injectable medicine. How effective has it been for your skin symptoms and joint pain? Have you encountered any of the listed side effects, particularly the urgent ones like allergic reactions or severe infections? What tips do you have for managing the injection process? I've heard the injection site irritation can be a bit uncomfortable, so any advice on that would be great too. Also, how often do you need to use this medication? I want to understand the long-term implications.

Taltz is great, but the injection process can be a bit tricky. I use the Auto Injector and get it over with quickly. It helps to practice deep breathing and distract myself with something. I've had some injection site irritation, but it's manageable. Just rotate your injection sites and use a cold compress if it gets too bad. Also, I've noticed some mild upset stomach but nothing too terrible.
