T-Stat 2% Pads 60's: My experience and some concerns about side effects

Has anyone experienced more severe symptoms, or does anyone have tips on preventing them? I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences with this medication.
Be really careful with any severe abdominal pain or changes in bowel habits. Colitis is no joke and requires immediate medical attention. Trust me, I've had it and it's not fun.
I’ve had some itching and peeling, but nothing too bad. I’ve found that applying a thin layer of Aquaphor before bed helps soothe the skin. Has anyone tried switching to a different topical antibiotic with better results?
I had a bad reaction to these pads. I broke out in hives all over my body and had trouble breathing. Scary stuff. Ended up in the ER and had to be treated with steroids. Definitely worth a trip to the doctor if you start to have any symptoms like that.
