Sharing my experience with Tresiba Flextouch Pen (U-200) - Insulin Degludec
I was recently prescribed the Tresiba Flextouch Pen (U-200) for my type 2 diabetes. I've been using it for about a month now and have noticed significant improvements in my blood sugar levels. The U-200 concentration means I'm injecting half the volume for the same dose, which is a game-changer for someone like me who dreads larger injections. However, I've had a few questions and concerns that I hope some of you can help with. Has anyone else experienced some mild irritation at the injection site? Everyone reacts differently to insulin. I've been using Tresiba for almost a year now. My biggest issue is the cost. Does anyone know if there are any good generic alternatives coming out soon?
I had a really bad reaction to Tresiba. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER. Be careful and pay close attention to side effects.

I've been using Tresiba for a month, and it's been great. My A1C has improved from 8.5 to 7.2. I'm a big fan. No major side effects yet, but I'll keep you posted.
