Sharing my experience with Cefprozil 250mg/5ml Susp 50ml - Has anyone else struggled with side effects?
I was prescribed Cefprozil 250mg/5ml Susp 50ml for an ear infection and I'm on day 3 of taking it. So far, I've had some mild stomach upset, but nothing too bad. I've been reading about the potential side effects and it's a bit scary, especially the severe reactions. Has anyone else taken this and had any issues, or even worse, the really serious side effects? It's important to finish the course and I understand that, but I'm curious to hear from others who have been through this.
I had hives and itching while on this. I was freaked out so I stopped taking it and called my doctor. She switched me to something else and I was fine. Trust your instincts if something feels off.
I had my kid on this for a skin infection. He had some diarrhea, but we managed it with probiotics. Make sure to talk to your doctor about managing side effects. They can help a lot.
