Pamidronate 6mg/ml Sol, 10ml: My Experience and Questions About Side Effects
I've been prescribed Pamidronate to manage high calcium levels due to my cancer treatment. I've read about the serious side effects, which are scary, but I'm hoping to hear from others who have been on this medication. How common are these side effects, and what can I expect? Are there any tips for managing them? Does anyone have experience with the jawbone problems mentioned?
I had a horrible allergic reaction to Pamidronate. Swelling and trouble breathing. Went to the ER and they immediately stopped the infusion. Be cautious and have medical help nearby.
Keep an eye on your urine and any changes in output. I ended up with kidney issues and had to switch meds.

My mom was on Pamidronate for a while, and she didn't have any serious side effects. Just some mild fatigue and sweating, but she managed it okay
Re: electrode problems - drink lots of fluids if you can. It helps with the seizures
I thought this was a joke at first but nope. I'm on the other end of this talking about my swollen hip. Doctor thinks I might have to stop the Pamidronate. Sucks
