Ongentys 25mg Capsules: Does it improve levodopa effectiveness for Parkinson's patients?
I've been prescribed Ongentys 25mg Capsules to complement my levodopa/carbidopa regimen for Parkinson's disease. The medication aims to reduce 'off' time by blocking the enzyme that breaks down levodopa, which helps my medication work better and for a longer period. However, I'm concerned about the potential side effects, particularly the urgent ones like hallucinations or allergic reactions that require immediate medical attention. Has anyone else had experience with this? How did it work for you? Also, is anyone familiar with the rare but serious condition neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS)? This is a bit overwhelming and I'm looking for some reassurance and additional insights.
