Why it works: Artemis II is fresh. Space subs love “pale blue dot” moments + open-ended questions.
I've seen this type of photo before, but it never gets old. It's amazing to see our planet from such a distance. It's a reminder of how small we are in the grand scheme of things!
I'm glad NASA is still doing this kind of stuff. The last thing I want to see is NASA shutting down their human spaceflight program.
I saw those photos and it just reminded me of how tiny and fragile our planet is. The view from Artemis II really puts things into perspective. We are all just tiny specks on a tiny blue dot in the vastness of space. I feel a bit more humble now and a bit more optimistic.
I think this is a great way to remind us of our shared humanity. We need more of this in the world. Everyone should see these pictures! I plan on printing it out and putting it on my refrigerator.
I never get tired of these kinds of photos. It's amazing how we always seem to get reminded what we all share. Also, I love how you can see the curvature of the Earth...it's just...daunting.
I think it's safe to say that these images will be inspiring to many people. I can't wait to see more images from the missions coming in the future.

I completely agree. It's a humbling reminder of how fragile and isolated our planet is.
I don't get the hype around these pictures. It's just a picture of Earth. We've seen it before.
