My experience with Haloperidol 20mg tablets, used for schizophrenia. What are your experiences with this medication? Any tips or advice?
I was prescribed Haloperidol 20mg tablets for schizophrenia and have been taking them for a few months now. At first, the drowsiness was pretty bad, but it's improved over time. I've also experienced some restlessness and anxiety, which isn't great, but it’s manageable. I've noticed improvements in my hallucinations and delusions, and I feel a bit more in control. However, I'm worried about the serious side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
I had a really hard time with the increased saliva production and difficulty swallowing. It was horrible. Talked to my doctor and switched to another drug, feel much better now. If you can find alternatives
I'm on a lower dose, 5mg, and it's been great for my Tourette's. But I've heard horror stories from people on higher doses. I'd definitely talk to your doctor.
