My Experience with Belsomra 20mg for Insomnia: Helpful or Harmful?
I've been struggling with insomnia for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Belsomra 20mg Tablets. On one hand, it has helped me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. On the other hand, I've experienced some concerning side effects like feeling confused and lightheaded the next morning. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'm wondering if these side effects will go away with time, or if I should switch medications. I've read the possible side effects and am worried about the more severe ones like hallucinations or memory problems. I've also been trying natural remedies like melatonin and yoga, but they aren't as effective.
I had hallucinations on Belsomra. Scariest thing ever. I immediately stopped taking it and called my doctor. Be careful, man.
Belsomra was a nightmare for me. I couldn't move or speak when I was waking up. It was terrifying. I had to switch to something else.
I've been on Belsomra for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. I fall asleep within 20 minutes and sleep through the night. No side effects for me, knock on wood.
Insomnia sucks. I feel for you. Maybe try cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) as well? It's helped me a lot.
Have you tried adjusting your dose? Sometimes a lower dose can help with side effects.
I was on Belsomra and the side effects were just too much. I tried Ambien and it was a lot worse. I'm back to trying natural remedies. They are slower but worth it once you find what works.
Give it more time. Your body might just need to adjust. But definitely talk to your doctor if you're worried.
Try taking it earlier in the night so you have more time to sleep it off. Might help with the grogginess.
