Life-changing or living hell? Share your experiences with Hydrocortisone AC 25mg Rectal Suppositories
I was prescribed Hydrocortisone AC 25mg Rectal Suppositories for ulcerative proctitis, and I'm wondering if anyone else has used this medication. I've heard it can be really effective, but the possible side effects are scary. Has anyone else experienced severe side effects or found them to be manageable? I'm curious to hear about your experiences—I just want to be prepared if this is really going to mess with my life or if it's worth it. I know the suppositories are meant to work directly on the irritated tissues, but I’m not sure what to expect. Has anyone else had any trouble with insertion or discomfort from the suppositories themselves? Any tips or tricks are appreciated.
I've used these for hemorrhoids, and they worked wonders. The side effects were minimal for me—just a bit of burning at first. Definitely worth it.
I didn’t experience any severe side effects, but I did feel some swelling. It went away after a few days. Hopefully, you have a better experience!
I had a terrible experience. I got severe dizziness and muscle weakness. Had to stop using them immediately.
I had a bad allergic reaction—rash, hives, the works. Went to the ER and they told me to stay away from these.
The insertion wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully. Good luck!
I used these for a while and noticed some weight gain and mood changes. Not worth it for me, but everyone is different.
Has anyone tried any natural remedies before resorting to these? I’m hesitant to start any medication.
I had a severe headache and some skin changes, but the suppositories helped a lot. It’s a trade-off, I guess.
