Life-changing or dangerous? - My experience with Hurricaine One 20% Spray for canker sores
I've been using Hurricaine One 20% Spray for my canker sores, and it's been a game-changer. The numbing effect is almost instant, and it makes eating and talking so much more comfortable. However, I've been reading about the potential side effects, and I'm starting to question if it's safe to continue using it. Has anyone else experienced any serious side effects? I had no idea benzocaine could cause such severe side effects. I've used it for years without issue, but this is scary stuff. I'll be more diligent about monitoring symptoms.

It's not worth it for me. I get severe tingling in my mouth for half an hour. It doesn't really stop the pain either. It just numbs the pain. I'm better off biting the bullet for 10-12 hours and letting it heal on its own. I'll stay away from this stuff.
Just got done talking to my dentist and he recommended trying this out. He said that it should be safe as long as you use it as directed and don't leave it on for too long. You should be okay. He also mentioned that it's been around for a long time. I've taken his word for it.
