Lamictal XR 200mg Tablets: My Experience and Questions
I've been prescribed Lamictal XR 200mg Tablets for my epilepsy, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it worked for you? Have you encountered any of the side effects listed, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about anyone who has dealt with the more serious side effects, like liver problems or HLH. Additionally, I'd love to know if anyone has tips for managing common side effects like dizziness or fatigue. I've heard mixed things and want to gather as much information as possible before I start my treatment.
I've heard horror stories about HLH, but thankfully, I've never experienced anything like that. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
I've been on Lamictal XR for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my seizures. I did have some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to titrate up slowly as directed by your doctor.
Be careful with the titration. I increased too quickly and ended up with a bad rash. Had to stop and start over. Not fun.
