Just switched to Novolog Mix 70/30 Flxpen 3ml (blue) - any tips or warnings?
Hey everyone, I just started using Novolog Mix 70/30 Flxpen 3ml (blue) and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I've read about the potential for allergic reactions and low blood sugar, but I'm curious if anyone has any personal experiences or advice to share. How does it compare to other insulin types? Any tips for managing side effects or injection sites? I appreciate any help!
Be super careful with the dosing. I had a few scary low blood sugar episodes until I got the hang of it.
I switched from another insulin and this one works way better for me. Less stomach issues and better control.
I had some irritation at the injection site at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just keep an eye on it and talk to your doctor if it gets worse.
