Just started Vectibix for colon cancer—feeling overwhelmed by side effects. Anyone else on this journey?
Has anyone here been treated with Vectibix 400mg Inj, 20ml for colon or rectal cancer? I just started my treatment and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the potential side effects. The list is long, and it's hard not to worry about what might happen. I've heard that some people don't experience any major issues, but I'm hoping to hear from people who've been through this and can share their experiences. Is the treatment as rough as it sounds, or is it manageable? I'd love to hear any tips or encouragement.
It’s a bummer that it can cause hair loss and eyelash growth. Who needs that combo?
I had some serious skin changes, especially on my hands and feet. It was tough, but worth it if it helps fight the cancer.
I wish someone had told me about the mouth sores. They were the worst part for me. My advice: stock up on a good oral rinse.
I had a mild allergic reaction at first, but once they adjusted the dosage, it was fine. Just monitor closely and communicate with your doctor.
Be prepared for some skin issues. My hands and feet got really irritated, but my doctor gave me some creams that helped a lot.
I got really bad diarrhea, but my doctor gave me some medicine to manage it. It’s not fun, but it’s doable.
