Just started using Astero 4% Gel — experiencing some side effects
I recently started using Astero 4% Gel to manage some skin pain, and while it's effective, I've been experiencing some worrying side effects. I want to know if anyone else has gone through this and what steps they took. I've had some redness and swelling at the application site, as well as feeling a bit lightheaded and confused at times. I haven't noticed any severe symptoms like trouble breathing or seizures, but I'm still concerned because it's supposed to be a minor treatment. Should I be worried?
Just remember that not all side effects are life-threatening. I had a friend who had a similar reaction, and it turned out to be just a mild allergic reaction. Just keep an eye on it and talk to your doctor if it gets worse.
Have you checked the instructions to see if there's a recommended maximum amount to apply? Maybe you're overdoing it. But definitely go to the doctor if things get worse.
What part of your skin are you applying it to? Sometimes the location can affect how your body reacts to the medication. I always apply mine to my hands, and I haven't had any major issues.
