Just started taking Famotidine 40mg/5ml Oral Susp 50ml for heartburn. Any tips or experiences to share?
I've been dealing with heartburn for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Famotidine 40mg/5ml Oral Susp 50ml. I've just started taking it, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. What was your experience like? Did it take long to see results? Any tips for taking it? I've read about the potential side effects, and while I hope not to experience any, it's always good to be prepared. Also, does anyone know if it's okay to take it with other medications or specific foods? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I used to take Zantac but they pulled it from the market so this is what I was switched to and it works well enough that I can sleep at night.
I took Famotidine with food and it did nothing for me. Try it on an empty stomach.
I wish they'd never switched my medication to this. Tried it once, felt awful, and never went back. For me, it was hell but I’m glad it works for others
I had some stomach pain but it went away after a few days. I think it’s common but the doctor said it should go away.
