Just started Seroquel XR 400mg - anyone else on this dosage for bipolar disorder?
I've just been prescribed Seroquel XR 400mg for my bipolar disorder, and I'm wondering if anyone else is on this dosage? It's only been a few days, but I'm already feeling pretty drowsy. I guess that's to be expected with this medication, but I'm curious about other people's experiences. This is my first time on an extended-release version of this drug, so I'm kind of nervous. Any advice or similar stories would be greatly appreciated. Also just curious about what side effects people have experienced. I'm not feeling any of the urgent ones, but it's still pretty scary to think about. Oh, and the weight gain scare is real for me. Anyone else dealing with that?
I'm on 200mg and it's been amazing for my mood. I wish I could take it forever, but my doctor wants to wean me off of it.
I've been on Seroquel XR 400mg for a year now, and it's been a life-saver for me. I wish I had started taking it sooner.
I think the extended-release version is a lot better than the immediate-release. I experienced fewer side effects with the XR.
I've been on 600mg and normal 400mg. I personally prefer the lower dose as it doesn't make me crazy hungry.
I'm on 300mg but was on 400mg for a bit. The weight gain is no joke. I wish my doctor had warned me more about it.
