Just started Oxaliplatin 50mg IV Infusion for Colon Cancer - What to Expect?
I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and my oncologist has put me on a treatment plan that includes Oxaliplatin 50mg IV Infusion in combination with other chemotherapies. Has anyone else gone through this? What were your experiences? I'm particularly worried about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Any advice on managing them or just general support would be greatly appreciated! Also, does anyone have tips on dealing with the infusion process itself? Thanks in advance!
I went through Oxaliplatin and Avastin. I felt like I was hanging on the edge of death but it was a fight worth fighting. The doctors were on top of everything. I felt great care and support for my physical health but not so much for my mental health.
