Just started Hyrimoz 40mg/0.8ml Pf Inj (2pens) - Any tips on managing side effects for rheumatoid arthritis?
I've just started using Hyrimoz as part of my treatment plan for rheumatoid arthritis. I've heard that injecting the medicine under the skin has been effective, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Does anyone have any tips on managing them? I've heard that reactions at the injection site are common, and I want to be prepared. I'm also interested in hearing about anyone else's experience with the medicine. Anyone had trouble with side effects? ❤️
Run a cold compress under your skin for a few minutes before you inject. It numbs the skin and makes the sting disappear. Works for me every time.
I've been on Hyrimoz for a few months now. The injection sites can get a bit sore, but using ice packs before and after injections really helped me. I also make sure to rotate injection sites and rotate between my stomach and thigh. Keep an eye out for any signs of infection too
I've been on Hyrimoz for a year now and my rheumatoid arthritis has never been better. I got really lucky and had no side effects. Obviously you never know what will happen, but I'm really glad I tried it.
How are you finding the injections? I've always dreaded needles, but the pre-filled pens make it a bit easier.
