Just started Clindamycin 150mg/ml injections - what are your experiences?

I've just started receiving Clindamycin 150mg/ml injections (60ml) to treat a serious bacterial infection. I'm a bit nervous because I've heard about some of the side effects, especially the severe ones. I want to know if anyone has had a similar experience and what I should look out for. Also, any tips on managing the side effects if I do experience them? I'm hoping to get some reassurance and practical advice from those who have been through this. Thanks!

Clindamycin 150mg/ml injections cleared my infection in no time, but the bad taste in my mouth was unbearable. It's worth it if you can tough it out. The side-effects will pass.

It's rough, but manageable. Keep your doctor in the loop. I went through some joint pain, but it was nothing compared to how I feel now that I'm on the road to recovery. Hang in there!

My friend had a severe reaction—feeling extremely tired and weak. It turns out she had an allergic reaction. Don't ignore any unusual symptoms, even if they seem minor.

I've been on Clindamycin before, and it was a bit rough at first with some stomach issues, but it got better over time. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest as much as you can.

Clindamycin can be tough, but it's effective. I had some diarrhea, but nothing too severe. Just keep an eye on any signs of allergic reactions; that's the most important thing.

I had a bad reaction to it—severe skin rash and joint pain. I had to stop taking it and switch to another antibiotic. If you feel anything unusual, contact your doctor ASAP. It's better to be safe.

I had to deal with upset stomach and vomiting. My doctor prescribed some anti-nausea meds, which made a big difference. As long as you manage the side effects, it's a good antibiotic.

I was given Clindamycin injections for an infection, and the injection sites were painful and swollen. My doctor recommended applying a warm compress, which helped a lot. Good luck, and stay in touch with your healthcare provider.

Necessary evil, it helped clear my infection, but I had to go through a lot of discomfort. Stay very vigilant for side effects, they aren't messing around. Take it easy and rest a lot.

I feel for you. I've been through this and it sucks. Had some pretty bad skin reactions, but luckily they didn't escalate. Make sure to report any issues to your doctor right away.
