Just started Amicar 1000mg Tablets for a bleeding disorder. Anyone else have experience with this?
I was recently prescribed Amicar 1000mg Tablets to help manage a bleeding disorder. The doctor said it helps blood clot and can reduce or stop bleeding, especially after surgery. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, though. Has anyone else used this medication? How was your experience? What should I watch out for? Any tips on managing side effects would be greatly appreciated!
The possible side effects list is quite long, and some of them are pretty serious. I'm hoping to hear from someone who has been through this and can offer some insights. Especially about the urgent side effects to watch out for. Thank you so much for your help!
Amicar saved my life after a car accident. I had a lot of internal bleeding and the doctors said Amicar was a key part of stopping that. Oh, but definitely watch out for any signs of an allergic reaction! I've heard those can be severe.
Has anyone else had issues with swelling? My legs have felt like tree trunks since I started this stuff. And I don't get any exercise!
My friend had some nasty stomach issues when he was on this. Doc said to take Pepto-Bismol in between doses to help with the cramps and nausea. It worked for him.
Be careful with this stuff. I had some really bad hallucinations. Go to the hospital if you experience any of those side effects.
