Just received my Granisetron 1mg/ml Inj, 4ml prescription - has anyone used this for chemotherapy nausea?
I've just started chemotherapy and my doctor prescribed Granisetron 1mg/ml Inj, 4ml to help with nausea and vomiting. I've heard it can be really effective, but I'm also a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, any tips on how to manage any side effects would be greatly appreciated!
Just a heads-up, make sure to stay hydrated and eat light, easy-to-digest foods. That helped me a lot when on this injection.
Granisetron worked wonders for me during my chemo treatments. I barely had any nausea, and the side effects were minimal. Just a bit of a headache, but it was worth it.
I found that taking the injection right before my chemo session worked best for me. But everyone's different, so talk to your doctor about the timing.
Why did the granisetron break up with the nausea? Because it couldn't handle the pressure! (Sorry, had to throw in a joke to lighten the mood.)
I had a terrible reaction to it. I ended up with hives and itching all over. Had to switch to a different medication.

Granisetron saved my chemo experience. I felt nauseous but was able to keep food down. I also found that taking some ginger supplements helped with any lingering stomach issues.
