Just received Ketorolac 60mg/2ml Inj, has anyone else used this NSAID after surgery?
I was just prescribed Ketorolac 60mg/2ml Inj after my surgery and I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone had experience with this medication? What was your experience like? I'm especially worried about bleeding and kidney issues.
Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER. Not worth the risk for me. Make sure to discuss all possible side effects with your doctor before starting this medication.
It's a strong NSAID, so it's normal to have some side effects. Make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your symptoms closely. If something feels off, don’t hesitate to call your doctor. I’ve gotten theirs and they’re pretty good with checking in. I had to use this for a broken bone — the relief was instant.
I had a bad reaction to it---bleeding and and excessive bruising ended up going to the ER and they immediately stopped using it and switched to a different pain management plan. So watch out for that!
I can’t believe they give this as an injection. I had no idea. I thought it was a pill. It’s like liquid gold because it works so well.
I had no severe side effects, but I did experience some headaches and stomach pain. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about it. For me, the pain relief was worth it.
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the kidney issues. My mom had to be hospitalized for that. It's scary stuff.
Ketorolac should only be used for a short period. Make sure you're not on it for too long. My dad was and had some serious issues.
On another note, have you tried icing the area? That helped me a lot with the pain.
I had a weird tingling sensation all over my body. Turns out it was a side effect. Just be careful, guys. It’s a strong medication.
