I just got a Bupivacaine/epineph 0.25% Inj, 10ml injection for a minor procedure. The nurse explained that it's a local anesthetic used to numb a specific area, with bupivacaine as the numbing agent and epinephrine to help the effect last longer and reduce bleeding. I've never had this before, so I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone had experience with this? What should I expect, and are there any side effects I should keep an eye out for?
Bupivacaine can cause some serious side effects, so definitely pay attention to any unusual symptoms. If you experience anything weird, like severe dizziness or shortness of breath, get medical help immediately.
