Just prescribed Geri-Lanta Suspension for indigestion. Has anyone else taken this?
I've been struggling with heartburn and indigestion lately, and my doctor prescribed Geri-Lanta Suspension. It's supposed to neutralize stomach acid and break up gas bubbles. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'm curious about your experiences and any side effects you might have encountered. I've heard it can cause diarrhea or constipation, so I'm a bit nervous about that. I was also a bit surprised by the list of side effects. I'm hoping it helps with my symptoms without too many issues. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I think the best thing to do is to take it at night, just before you go to sleep. That way, you don't have to deal with any food-related issues as your body adjusts to it.
I've been using Geri-Lanta Suspension for a while now, and it's been a lifesaver for my indigestion. No major side effects here, just occasional constipation, but it's manageable. Give it a shot and see how it works for you!
Be careful with this one. I had a really bad experience with it. I woke up in the middle of the night with a rash all over my body, and I had to rush to the ER. Turns out, I was having an allergic reaction. So, keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction, it may be a red flag.
I think this is a common problem with a lot of these medications. You can try taking it with food to see if it helps with some of the side effects, but there's no guarantee.
I tried this medication for a day and it was not worth it. I'm not a fan of any medicine at all, but this one was pretty bad. I'm sticking with my old ways of dealing with heartburn.
